[Qgis-user] Configuring the OTB toolbox?

Thank you for your answers.

Werner, I was aware of that setting. What I find there is that there is an
'x' in the Activate box, but no file path. So I looked for the file path by
using Windows Explorer and couldn't find it.

Jose, I am using Windows 7 and QGIS version 2. I looked for your suggested
file path, but again, no luck.

Perhaps I have made the mistake of assuming that if I can see the entries
for Orfeo Toolbox in the Processing Toolbox then it is installed.

My installation of QGIS was done via the Windows installer, not through
Osgeo. Would I be right, now, to say that I need it as a separate
installation?

Hi Johanna,

If you are using the version 2.0 you just need to put the path for the OTB
files in the configuration menu. In my case, I'm using Linux version
(Ubuntu 12.04), put this paths in the configuration menu:

OTB applications folder: /usr/lib/otb

OTB command line tools folder: /usr/lib

Best Regards,
José Santos
