I've just installed stand alone QGIS OSGeo4W-2.0.1-3-Setup-x86 ~ no problems; I'm a first time user. I'm trying to import waypoint data (GPX) from a Garmin MapSource78.
Plugin Manager says the GPS tools plugin is there, the box is checked. Add vector layer from GPS in menu can find my GPS (usb) and locate the files on that receiver. It imports the GPX file title into layers manager, shows the corordinate properties as WGS84, and I click OK. Then it says Plugin not configured.
I've reloaded the repository, but the GPS icons do not appear anywhere on toolbars or menus (the manual says they should). How do I configure the plugin? Thanks, Michael
