You can do it directly on a spreadsheet like libreoffice calc. Get the X and Y coordinates, and elevation from each point, For each point, calculate the distance to the previous point using:

 sqrt((x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2)

and in a new column calculate acumulate that value (This is the M column).
You can then use the M column and the Z to create a area chart.
