[Qgis-user] 3d points in qgis

Hi!

Is it possible in QGIS to calculate z coordinate of point? I have a layer
imported from Total Station and I cannot see the field calculator command
to do this. Of course, it is possible to calculate it in spatialite, but in
qgis it would be much easier.

Or, asking wider - how QGIS treats layers with 3D coordinates?
