[Qgis-user] Layer definition files from browser window?

Thanks for the quick response! That would be brilliant if it can be included for v2.5. I lead a GIS team for a local Council and we use ESRI layer files extensively in our ESRI software. The pace of QGIS development is amazing and I really am considering switching over to QGIS, v impressed with v2.4.

That feature isn't currently supported yet.  On my todo list for the next version if I get some time.

I have recently downloaded QGIS 2.4 and am very interested in the layer definition files option. I have saved a couple of test files in a folder which I have added as a favourite within the browser window. When I come to try and add a QLR file I cannot see it, I cannot seem to view any files within the folder.
Can someone tell me if QLR files can be added from the browser window area?
