[Qgis-user] Loading a .map url in QGIS

in QGIS Dufour, but copying the url with a .map ending into the usual "Add
WMS layer" window gives me a can't connect message. Am I doing something
wrong, or is it not possible to use this type of map in QGIS? The map which
particularly interests me
is: http://www.mapasdelapalma.es/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=/home/cabildo/maps/wms_cabildo_base.map

The server is down or the url is wrong. Because it is Mapserver sending this
with a browser 
http://www.mapasdelapalma.es/cgi-bin/mapserv?
should return:
"No query information to decode. QUERY_STRING is set, but empty."
