[Qgis-user] Question on Installing a newer version of QGIS

Hello,

   Actually I am asking what is the preferred way to upgrade from 2.4 to 2.6?
Uninstall 2.4 first?
Would that cause me to loose settings? (Like location of Projects if changed from the default?)
