Hi Stefan,

(pulling it to the list again)

My setup here is a custom one: an standalone Apache install on Windows
(because the Apache from osgeo4w is an old version with known security
issues according to the sysadmins here).

As a test I installed qgis-dev package from osgeo4w, and copied ALL from
<osgeoinstall>\apps\qgis-dev\bin
and
<osgeoinstall>\bin
into the excisting cgi-bin directory of my Apache install and ran
QGIS-server as cgi(!)

I run it as cgi because I'm only testing, AND because a cgi is easier
for that: no need to restart apache because the environment/projectfile
is read for every request
Which makes me think: did you already restart your apache?

I see that the default QGIS-Server installed with osgeo4w is indeed
2.4.0-1. So I think with next release (within a couple of weeks you will
have 2.6.0.
Either wait for that, OR try to copy my setup to see if that helps?

Or issue a feature request to make QGIS-Server-dev also part of osgeo4w?
