Algorithms not preserving CRS for EPSG:32647 UTM zone 47N

I'm using a couple of algorithms (r.composite, r.mapcalculator) on Landsat
imagery from EPSG:32647 UTM zone 47N (Thailand) and the output from the
algorithms has an undefined CRS. I've checked my input imagery and QGIS
reads that CRS fine. 
I also found that when using imagery from the US (EPSG: 32613 UTM zone 13N)
the CRS is preserved in the outputs.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
