??? If I understood your question (different from the previous one)
It's already available. If the layer is a DB layer you can save it's
style in DB. This works for PostGIS and Spatialite (I did it for
spatialite for the 2.4 version).

You're looking for this funcion available also for layers not in the DB?

??? si entendí bien tu bregunta (que es diferente desde la primera) el
que tu buscas es ya disponibile. Si la capa es de BBDD tu puede grabar
su estilo en el mismo DB. Funciona con PostGIS y Spatialite (para
spatialite lo hize yo en la version 2.4)

Estas buscando que esta funcionalidade sea disponible para capas que
no sean en un BBDD?
