[Qgis-user] Converting TTF font to SVG

Hello,

I would like to convert a TTF font to SVG for use in QGIS but all
converters I have tried online fail to generate a result that is usable in
QGIS. I made sure to set the path to my SVG folder correctly.

No preview of the SVG is displayed when in the SVG marker option, so I am
guessing that the converted file is not correct.

Any ideas how to add new SVG? I am trying to get the USGS geology markers
converted from a TTF.
