[Qgis-user] Sorting layers

Hi,
  I am not sure if my mails are getting through as they don't show up in my
inbox.
  I sometimes have many layers in a project and would like to have them
listed in a specific order. I was wondering if there is any way to sort the
display of layers without actually manually dragging them to where I want
them? I would like to select a set of layers and sort them alphabetically.
Is this possible?
