[Qgis-user] Changing raster data to model a landdfill?

Hi, there are many ways to do it. This is what I would do.
First you need to model the landfill.  You will need point data or contour lines with the z info on the land fill.
Second, you need to interpolate the vector data to create a raster model of the land fill.  The polyline can be used as a break line. (Raster, interpolation or use gdal-dem in Raster\analysis\dem or Grass). Find the best interpolation for your data and needs. For more predictable results, use the same griding scheme as your original data.
Finally, use the raster calculator and do
Original layer - landfill model = new layer (carefully select the extent, columns and rows of the new layer).  Raster math is done on pixel centroids.

Could you please tell me, how I can model a virtual landfill by changing existing raster data inside a polyline shape. I have two areas. Area 1 with fixed z-value Area 2, which is representing a slope Please help beroubt _______________________________________________
