[Qgis-user] Parsing failed

Hello everyone,

When I edit a field and change the label of the field, I get an error, "An
error occurred while evaluating the calculation string: No root node!
Parsing failed?"

The label does not change in the table, but I can see the change in the map
after I save the shape file, and in the table after I close and reopen it. 

Nothing else seems wrong.

Anyone knows what's going on and if it need to go to a ticket?
