[Qgis-user] Exporting data from qgis

Hi, 
You can make a selection and then save the layer or the selection to new file (right click on the layer). You just need to select the format txt, CSV, shp...   Layers (data points, line, polygons...) are saved in regular formats readable in most GIS.  Only the project file  is not easily exportable.
