[Qgis-user] Use an Oracle view without a spatial column?

Is this possible? My table just has X and Y coords. I know it won't draw
anything, just want to confirm that Qgis can see and manipulate the data.

Since it has no spatial column, I can't register it in
user_sdo_geom_metadata.
