[Qgis-user] garmin file (gdb)

Just to clarify:

QGIS is able to load ESRI file geodatabases with .gdb file extension. 
The way to open them is described in 
http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/26285/file-geodatabase-gdb-support-in-qgis

The files that are used by Garmin with the same .gdb ending have nothing 
to do with those ESRI files. You can batch convert them using gpsbabel 
as described in 
http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/18405/how-to-batch-convert-garmin-gdb-to-gpx
