[Qgis-user] Hillshading while ignoring coastline / elevation below X m?

Hi, 
I think you need to create a mask.  The easiest way is to use the raster calculator to create this mask on the DEM. 
For example, if you use something like dem.tiif>10, then pixel bigger than 10 will be given the value of 1 and others will have the value of 0.  Then you take this mask and multiply it with the hillshade.
