[Qgis-user] Question on virtual layers and spatial index

 Hi, 

I made a non-spatial MS SQL Server table spatial with a virtual layer
(QGIS master), by using the geom_from_wkt() function - quite cool btw! 

Now - I have a question on performance: while the rendering speed is
quite ok, the picking of the points is quite slow. Is there a way to
create a temporay spatial index on the virtual layer?
