[Qgis-user] Question about the translate tool (under raster) - ADRG driver error

Hi,

To my knowledge, tiff has always been my default unless specified. Perhaps that in 2.16, the default relies on a different variable (like a previously saved format)? Not sure. I any case, this has permitted you to discover the help button with all the different switches that are not in the Qgis GUI. It would be nice to expand the QGis GUI but that would require that it be continually upgraded with the gdal switches. But the help button and little yellow pencil icon with always be superior and more flexible then an expanded GUI.

The error is normal if the format (ADRG) does not support multiple bands. I don't know that format but I get a similar error if I try to save a RGB image as a .DEM by mistake. .dem, of course, only handles one single band, or one layer of data. (The result is a grey image).
