[Qgis-user] Custom dash pattern broken when used inside a line pattern fill

In addition it seems like the thicker the custom dashed line is, the
more ugly rendering artefacts appear at the change between a dash and a
space.

Is this a qt bug or a QGIS bug?

The result as it appears is more like a longer dash, then a space, then a shorter dash and a space. Certainly not what we defined. If you change to a longer dash, say 20mm dash, 3mm space, the spaces totally disappear.
