[Qgis-user] issues importing GPX saved by QGIS to Garmin Basecamp

Hi,

I have been trying to import to Garmin Basecamp (most recent version) a
shapefile saved as GPX from QGIS (2.16.2)

in Basecamp the track shows up, but together with an additional set of
"artifact" segments, e.g. connecting the final point of a segment with
another one

I would like to know if others have experienced similar issues and, if
there may be specific caveats to account for in this process (export
options or else).
