[Qgis-user] QGIS style linking

Hi Mats,

You mean kind of a live-link central style that can be referenced by 
various projects and centrally changed and it would apply to all 
projects that reference this central style definitions?

If you mean that - no this isn't possible. Everything you have in a 
project exists only in this project. There are no ways to reference 
styles outside of a project with live updates.

Nyall brainstormed about making such live links possible for print 
layouts - with external templates. But this isn't implemented either. 
You could discuss such ideas with Nyall or on the developer list, if you 
are interested.
