[Qgis-user] [EXT]: QGIS 3.4 doesn't start/Windows 10

Hi,

After installing QGIS 3.4 on Windows 10 the application fails to start. I get the following two error messages (see attachments):


  1.  qgis-bin.exe - Entry Point Not Found
  2.  Could not load qgis_app.dll

This issue seems to be specific to one particular PC. There were no problems after installing QGIS 3.2 on three other work stations that also run Windows 10.

I have tried removing all previous QGIS installations, user data and registry entries but this make no difference. Installing QGIS via the OSGEO4W-installer hasn't worked either.

The issue appears to be the same as the one described at https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/277456/dll-problem-with-qgis-3-0-64bit-while-32bit-works.

I would be grateful for any suggestions that might help to solve the problem.
