Hi Emanuele,
Points in QGIS3D must be represented by 3d shapes (box, sphere, model
file, etc.). In each layer there are separate styles for 2D and 3D (each
one in its own separate tab in the layer properties or alternatively in
the styling panel). Did you use the 3D styles? There you can specify the
source of the third dimension (z-coordinate or terrain, absolute or
relative).
