I notice this advice in QGIS-macOS-3.2.2-1.dmg

Install at least 3.6.5, the macOS 10.9 build.
(previous versions did not hav a 10.9 build)

Only python.org Python 3 is supported.

Make sure to use the default/standard install (or at least the install pip option in a custom install)

When I go to the Python 3.6 link https://www.python.org/downloads/  I am offered Python 3.7.0

Advice is not clear for me.

Is it ok to download 3.7.0 instead of 3.6 (it is at least at least 3.6.5)?
