Interesting idea. How can I call the WMS interactively ?

There is, to be honest, not enough documentation on the QGIS server. I still don’t understand how it picks a map file when you don’t give one explicitly, for example.

I’ve been banging my head against QGIS for the past two days and just can’t get it to work, so maybe I can find help here. It just doesn’t give me WMS tiles or they are blank. Then I fiddle around and it works, then I clean it up to make it work and it stops again. It’s driving me crazy. :-)
