Hi,

It would help if you said what installer you are using and what version of Windows you are using. I imagine you are using the regular easy installer and not the OSGeo4w installer. This is what I would try.

Disable any anti-virus software or anti-malware Software.

Uninstall QGIS if it’s still in found in your uninstall programs window of the Windows Control panel.

Reboot between every install or uninstall.

Delete QGIS folder manually if you still still have some. If you use the easy installer, look in the program files (for the 32 or 64bit program) And if you use the OSGeo4w installer, look in the c:/OSGeo4w folder.

Delete QGIS hidden user folder “C:\Users\<username>\.qgis folder “

Delete QGIS registry keys and reboot. (This is when things really don’t work)

Look here http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/How-to-quot-uninstall-purge-quot-QGIS-in-Windows-td4644899.html

Reinstall QGIS. If the installer you are using does not work, use the other one. I personally use OSGeo4w. Shortcuts will be found in the under OSGeo4w.

Reboot and enable the anti virus software.

Ça va bien aller!

> Dear QGIS team,
> I am facing an issue in finding QGIS on my laptop after installation. I tried to upgrade my QGIS to the latest version (QGIS 3.14), after installation, I couldn't locate it on my laptop anymore. However, I can see it in the uninstall section of my laptop. I have tried uninstalling it and re-installing it back, yet, I am still faced with the same problem.

I saw and run the 'qgiscrashhandler.exe', but a System error pop-up tells me that 'Qt5Widgets.dll, Qt5Gui.dll, Qt5Core.dll were not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.' I have reinstalled and redownloaded QGIS software countless times, yet the issue subsists. How may this issue be resolved as quickly as possible, as I have an unfinished assignment to be done using the QGIS software? Thank you in advance for your help.
