I have only a NirCmd.chm and no NirCmd.exe in my qgis directory.

Subject: [Qgis-user] QGIS file flagged as virus

  Hi everybody,

My antivirus has flagged the QGIS file "nircmd.exe" and "nircmdc.exe" as viruses and have deleted them. Should I be worried about this? Are they necessary for QGIS? Apparently my QGIS is still working properly.

I have found a similar question to this one here:

http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Re-Qgis-user-nircmd-flagged-as-a-virus-td4102707.html

But I'm not sure if I have to worry about or no. What are these files supposed to do?

  Thanks in advance

  Rafa
