Hi,
No, I just had not used anything that required Python and everything
else was work just fine. For the time being, I have reverted back to 3.18.3.
I have tried doing an "in place" upgrade to W10 several times but it would
not work. So far I have not had enough time to do a W10 installation from
scratch followed by a re-installation of all my apps. However, clearly that
is now becoming more urgent :-(
Regards,
Ray Carpenter.

Great to know!
Is the Processing core plugin working?
The new installer ships Python 3.9.5 for which Windows 7 is no longer
supported and on which is supposed to not work.
In fact python39.dll depends on api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll which is
usually not available on Windows 7 systems.
Did you manage to find a copy of api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll from a
reliable source?
Regards.
Andrea
