Thanks for the tip, @uclaros ; i do have the grass v.rectify algorithm in
my Processing Toolbox, but am not quite understanding how to use it.. And the
online documentation
<https://grass.osgeo.org/grass79/manuals/v.rectify.html> i've found is no
great help.
I'm guessing i just need to map a couple of 2D ground control points to the
corresponding points on this vector object, in order resize & move it to
its proper place. In this project's CRS (EPSG-3763) two opposite corners
of the building's roof would be -44371.951,-280480.105
and -44299.756,-280487.420, respectively... But how then would i map these
GCPs to the imported vector object (which has no geocoordinate attributes)
in such a way that the algorithm can understand what it needs to transform?
Any pointers on how to apply that algorithm to this case would be most
appreciated!
/walt
The grass v.rectify algorithm does exactly that, you'll have to manually
> collect your gcps though.
