[Qgis-user] v.transform Tool

Hi,
This is one of the things I normally do with AutoCAD. The tools in QGIS for this are just not as intuitive:(

Anyways, the first thing I would do, just to test the tool, is to save the file in a local UTM zone or local CRS that is in meters.  Currently, you are epsg 4326 and unit is degrees.  Multiplying degrees by a scale of 1.5 could very well bring you on another planet!

To figure out the tool, you could also draw a 10mx10m square and then use that to figure out what is going on. If you insist on playing with degrees, reduce the scale to something like 1.1 or 1.01 and look at the results.
