[Qgis-user] How do I clean up this geometry?

Hi qgis-user,
I don't see any issue calculating the features area of the layer you
provided with $area function using the Field Calculator.

Are you sure you used a suitable type (e.g. "double") for the field in which
you want to store the area value?
