[Qgis-user] Fwd: digitizing polygons

Is the new layer selected (highlighted) [1], did you enable editing on 
it [2],
did you select the Add Polygon tool [3]? You should see the polygon forming
as in [4].  Right-click (Ctrl-click on Mac) to finish the polygon.
