[Qgis-user] [E3] Inquiry regarding the name of the coordinate system, EPSG:5186

Dear Dongguk Lee,

interesting topic! I just did a bit of "geodetic archeology" and I 
figured out from 
https://github.com/Esri/projection-engine-db-doc/blob/440e9f0e7184ce00b567cf6531d54d8c15d24ed8/objedit/gxyzcs_syn.txt#L127 
, that "Korea_2000" was an older name used by ESRI a few years ago for 
what EPSG now calls "KGD2002".  Ideally PROJ (the library used 
underneath by QGIS to manage coordinate systems) should store this alias 
somewhere, but it doesn't currently

Anyway you can safely use EPSG:5186 for shapefiles with a 
KGD200_Central_Belt_2010 .prj. This is just the same CRS.
