[Qgis-user] QGIS 3.40 long term release

Hi Team

I have installed QGIS 3.4 Bratislava as below.

I installed it in c\:program files\q

After a couple of hours the application then seems to install itself in a new folder "QGIS 3.42.1" and update itself as below .
The original install location of the Q folder is not all but empty.

I am looking to only use the QGIS 3.40 LTR version and nothing else.
Please can I have some advice on how to prevent the application from updating itself?
