Yes, it is of course important to find out why the current version is slower. In order to fix this if possible.
This may also be due to the interaction with Lizmap. I will pursue this further.
But I had hoped to be able to restore the old status first. And fortunately, thanks to Jürgen's help, this has now been achieved.
