Subject: "Phantom" point in created layer
Good morning,
Please help!
QGIS version: 3.34.15-Prizren
[cid:image007.png at 01DB9D68.170A9250]
I am counting informal structures in our project areas.
I created a shapefile layer and use the "Toggle editing - Add polygon feature" function to add a point. Every structure gets a dot.
In the end I use the count of the attribute table as the count of structures.
During QC I saw that there are a lot of "point" in the attribute table that was not created by me and does not show on the map?
In all the layers I created there were about 2500 "phantom" point that I did not create.
Dots created to count the structures.
I selected all the points created.

Attribute table indicates that there are 216 structures (if you only use the count without selecting the dots), but there are only 145 points?

[cid:image004.png at 01DB9D66.EF7997F0]
I created a layer with all the "non-selected" points (the ones that we did not create), and they are somewhere in the ocean?
[cid:image005.png at 01DB9D67.523CA4E0]
The difference between using the count in the attribute table normally (blue) and then selecting the actual created point in yellow.

Please help me understand this mystery....
Thanking you in advance.
