Hello,
I have added an ArcGIS Image service to my QGIS project. It
represents a DEM for the Province of New Brunswick, Canada. Here are some
of the details from “Layer Properties > Information”:
------------------------------
*Name*
Elevation/DEM_Raw_MNE_Brut
*URL*
https://geonb.snb.ca/image/rest/services/Elevation/DEM_Raw_MNE_Brut/ImageServer
*Source*
crs='EPSG:2953' format='JPGPNG' url='
https://geonb.snb.ca/image/rest/services/Elevation/DEM_Raw_MNE_Brut/ImageServer
'
*Provider*
arcgismapserver
*allowRasterFunction*
true
I would like to change the style or rendering of the DEM to
contours, Hillshade, etc. Is this possible? I am running QGIS version
3.34.4-Prizren on Windows 11, 64-bit.
To restyle a local DEM raster I would go to "Layer Properties >
Symbology" and simply change the "Render type" to Hillshade or Contours.
However, the only option available in the "Render type" drop-down list is
"Singleband color data". I am able to restyle this image service in ArcGIS
Online and in ArcGIS Pro.
Thanks,
Bernie.
