[Qgis-user] wrong view display opening the project

Dear All,

I recently encountered a small but annoying issue in QGIS: when opening a
project, it always defaults to a specific view, rather than the last view
that was selected at the time of saving and closing the project. In fact,
it seems that the first view in the list is always displayed, no matter
what view or layer selection was last saved. However, if no saved views are
present, the project opens with the layers active at the time of saving and
closing.
My actual version is 3.40.4-Bratislava running on windows 10
