[Qgis-user] How Can I just have version LTR 3.44?

Hi Andrea,

That is what I thought so I don't understand how to resolve the issue.

1. OS: Windows 11 Pro / Edition: 26200.8037
2. I download it from: https://qgis.org/download/
3. I have attempted downloading LTR 3.44 directly and through the Offline (Standalone) installer.

Despite my attempts, up to a day after installing the version I want the application updates itself to the most recent version.

QGIS doesn't update itself.

Please clarify in detail:
- the Operative System name and version
- how exactly do you download and install QGIS on your system
- how do you say exactly what version of QGIS is installed in your system
