[Qgis-user] How Can I just have version LTR 3.44?

Hi Genna,
since you are reporting a very strange and unusual issue, I suggest you 
to describe the situation providing info as much as possible detailed 
and accurate.

Which file have you downloaded exactly? What do you mean with 
"downloading directly" in contrast to "through the Offline (Standalone) 
installer"?

As already said, QGIS cannot automatically updates itself.

How do you say exactly what version of QGIS is installed in your system?
Could you please provide the info about the QGIS full version info 
available in Help -> About menu?

Are there more than 1 QGIS version installed in your system? If they 
are, are you sure you are launching the desired QGIS version?
