[Qgis-user] Update QGIS-Desktop

If I have version 3.34 installed and manually install version 3.44 over it, a second instance is also created. So this has nothing to do with the software distribution solution.
Is there a way to download the latest QGIS LTR version and then install it over an existing version?

This question is about "PDQ Deploy", which appears to be a paid-for, proprietary tool.  I suggest you address questions about PDQ Deploy not doing what you want to your PDQ support contacts.
