Hi Amal,
first of all please consider that you are using a 2 years old QGIS 
version which is very likely also using an old version of the GDAL 
library depending on the Operative System (which one exactly) and on the 
installer/binaries (which one exactly) used.

Have you tried if the issue occurs also using a currently supported QGIS 
version using a recent version of the GDAL library?

Have you tried if the issue occurs directly using the GDAL tool gdalinfo?

If the issue occurs directly using the GDAL tool gdalinfo, then I would 
suggest you to file an issue report on the GitHub repository of the GDAL 
library, otherwise on the GitHub repository of QGIS, providing both a 
layer file for which the issue occurs and a layer file for which the 
issue doesn't occur.
