[Qgis-user] Freelance developer wanted for dam design project

Greetings,

I'm just learning qgis and have an immediate need for a dam design that 
I don't have time to learn to do.

We need to know the volume of earth needed to construct a curved dam 
that is about 750 meters long and 12 meters tall.

I have the contours of the lake area defined, but can not figure out how 
to define the dam, itself, and then calculate the volume of earth 
required to construct the dam.

Anyone with experience in this area who can help within the next few 
days, please let me know what you can do and approximately what you 
would charge.
