[Qgis-user] QGIS problem

Hello!
I'm using QGIS version 3.44.11.
Here are the details of the problem: I was working on a task in this
program when it suddenly crashed. The files I'm using are stored on my hard
drive. So, I opened the file I needed on another device to check it, and
everything works perfectly there—it opens and can be dragged just as it
should. The other device has the same version of the program (3.44.11). But
on my device, I get an error (see the screenshot below). I’m sure the
problem is with the program itself, since this happened after everything
else stopped working: at one point, I lost the ability to open polygons,
which took me some time to figure out. Later, I was able to do that, but
the files still wouldn’t drag and drop. I also know it’s not a disk issue,
because I can drag and drop other files from it, but the specific one I
need won’t work. The files are fine—it’s just the situation I described—and
everything works perfectly on another device. I’d appreciate some help with
this issue. Thanks in advance.
The operating system I’m using is Windows.
