Hi,

The problem occurs only when I am logged in to our LAN at work. I can
post comments from home and through the public WLAN we have for visitors.

The trouble is not at your side but if you get curious you might check
how the login system works and what does it require at the client side.
I can use many same kind of services which require login just fine from
inside our LAN with the same browser. By the way, I am using Windows 7
64-bit and Firefox 23.0.1. I tried also Internet Explorer version
9.0.8112.16421 (sic!) with the same result.

And to be sure, this is what happens from our LAN:

- I open a ticket from trac.osgeo.org/gdal

- I log in as jratike80

- status bar shows that I am logged in

- I write a comment and press send

- trac informs that I have no rights to send a comment and that I
am an anonymous user

- status tells that I am not logged in.

It looks that for some reason our company proxy or firewall does not let
the session credentials to go through.

Regards,

Jukka,

All I can suggest is to completely shutdown the web browser and restart
(possibly a full reboot since most web browsers keep running in the
background even when nothing is open) and see if the problem persists.

If it does, please let me know which Trac instance it is you are
using, and I'll try to check for misconfiguration of permissions.

Best regards,

Frank

Hi,

I could not add a comment to a ticket even it looks like the login with
OSGeo userid "jratike80" has been successful and the status line says
"logged in as jratike80". The message is "Warning: No permissions to
add a comment." At this state the track status line does not show the
"logged in as jratike80" info anymore so I guess that system has logged
me out automatically.
