[SAC] how to login to download.osgeo.org?

Hi,

from time to time I [1] have to put compiled winGRASS versions e.g. into https://download.osgeo.org/osgeo4w/x86_64/release/grass/

* according to (https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Download_Server):
* It is intended that each interested project should have a directory under /osgeo/download with appropriate permissions so a project member can manage the
* subdirectories and files. Scp, or sftp can be used to bring files onto the server. Someone from each project will need their LDAP OSGeo Userid shell enabled, for
* ssh/scp access.

looking into https://www.osgeo.org/cgi-bin/auth/ldap_shell.py

I'm listed there to have access to /osgeo/download. Am I right?

just tried it here with winscp, but no luck so far to login to upload.osgeo.org, error message says something like "disconnected: no supported authentication methods availabe (server sent: publickey)".

any hints how to proceed?
