Comment (by gdt):

 While "from munging" avoids DMARC failues, it's really icky.  So it should
 be limited to domains that have DMARC reject/quarantine polices.

 At least some mailman versions have a setting to only do munging for
 domains that have DMARC policies.

 But, if subject tagging and footer spamming is turned off, I think no
 mitigation will be necessary.
