[SeasonOfDocs] Slack channel

Hi all,

I'm also in favor to stay on mailing lists. After 7+ years of experience
with QGIS and other software I find working with email great because:

* I have all the work to do (= mail to read) in one place
* don't loose threads: I just leave the emails as "to read" and I can be
updated even after days when I couldn't be active because of reasons
* archiving. The last week it too me 2 minutes to find a solution (that
I knew was posted on the QGIS mailing list) of 2015
* emails are not chat. It could not be our case, but when someone ask or
posts something on slack like channels (s)he expects to have an
immediate answer while with emails you have to be more patience

Anyway.. If moving to slack like channel we have to choose some open
source alternative. Zero experience here, but what about
https://www.mattermost.org/
